This case reshaped U.S. sanctions policy, targeting crypto mixing services and refining cyber threat responses. His recent work uncovered $7.7 million in crypto tied to North Korean IT worker laundering schemes, exposing identity fraud tactics used to funnel earnings to Pyongyang.
